Canadian Forage and Grassland Association AGM & Conference

Guelph, ON - November 14-16, 2017

Invite to participate in a delegation (by bus) to Albany NY to participate in the Grassfed Exchange from September 27-29, 2017.  If you are interested in registering for this opportunity, please contact: Ruth Knight , or call 519 357 5224

The Grassfed Exchange is a conference for and by producers to exchange ideas on practices, genetics and markets for grassfed.  The conference is also valuable for other value chain contributors such as processors, distributors and marketers.   This year's conference will be taking place in Albany, New York, on September 27th-29th.  Albany is only a 6-8 hour drive for most Ontarians.

The cost of registration is $345 US before July 31st and you can find out more about the conference at

A small group of Ontario grassfed advocates are interested in forming an Ontario delegation, chartering a bus and potentially organizing an additional tour of farms for Ontario participants while in New York.

There is also some interest in hosting the 2018 Grassfed Exchange here in Ontario.

This survey is to help us gauge how much serious interest there would be in attending this year's conference as a delegation and/or hosting the 2019 conference in Ontario.  We would likely not host the conference unless we knew we could achieve the same rates of participation as other US locations: roughly 250.
